"that's a wrap!", bed ridden, UNI girl, white lines & The Newsletter! Thursday, 24 July 2008 22:21 Hey Everybody! It's been a while since I’ve written, but I’ve been very busy lately shooting a music video, being sick, starting University, touring and getting the CB Fan Newsletter up and running. I shot the music video for 'Lucky Girl' a couple of weeks ago and signed off on the final cut today. It’s very different to all my other videos but I love it and I'm so excited for you all to see it! The video will go to CMC tomorrow, which means it should hit your screens over the next week or so! It will be posted on catherinebritt.com, myspace and youtube ASAP!!! I'll keep you posted! I think adrenalin must’ve kept me going through out the shoot because as soon as we wrapped I fell incredibly ill and stayed that way for a week straight! The first diagnosis pointed towards Influenza, or “The Flu”, but after a few more days in bed I knew it had to be something more serious. Enter Dr #2. Turns out I didn’t have The Flu at all and in fact I was suffering from a pretty nasty kidney infection. A load of anti-biotics and a few more days in bed saw a full recovery and a very very happy me.   A very happy me! Happy and healthy just in time to kick off my first semester at Newcastle University. I’m studying Australian History and Sociology and my first lecture was on Monday. It’s a new experience for me, daunting in a lot of ways (AAARGH!) but exciting in so many more! What have I got myself into? I’m already flat out! As well as all this I’ve been continuing my usual thing, touring. I’ve had a ball with the last lot of shows, so thank you to all the people that came out to  see the us and thank you to Telstra for inviting me to be a part of some of the Telstra Road to Tamworth Heats. The young talent is great and I’m proud to be associated with the competition. One more thing … Some of you might have noticed that we now have the fan Newsletter up and running. This means I’ll be writing Newsletters and sending out all sorts of fun things to the members of this new "Club".
